Junior Eurovision 2021

Live from Paris – TG4 19th December 3pm

It’s finally here! Ireland’s Junior Eurovision Song 2021.

Representing Ireland in this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Paris on December 19th is 14-year-old Maiú Levi Lawlor from Greystones, Co. Wicklow.

In this video Maiú is performing the song that will hopefully see him secure the title.

Competing against 19 other countries, he will be hoping that his Irish language song ‘Saor’ (Disappear) will win the prestigious event for Ireland. His song is about teenagers emerging from the struggles of our Covid lockdown and how they will now live life to the full. Their spirit can never be crushed! Can Maiú go on and claim Eurovision glory for Ireland? The nation holds its breath…

Join presenter Louise Cantillon and judge Niamh Ní Chróinín on the 19th of December to cheer Maiú on. Online voting details coming soon.

Songwriters: Niall Mooney, Lauren White Murphy, Anna Banks.

Music: Niall Mooney, Brendan McCarthy, Cyprian Cassar, Lesley Ann Halvey.

Junior Eurovision produced by Adare Productions.
